JKUAT Nairobi Campus,

The JKUAT Nairobi campus campus is located about 10 kilometers from the city center on Kabasiran Avenue off Waiyaki way, Nairobi.

The need to provide JKUAT programmes to a wider population is one of the principal driving force s behind the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology – (JKUAT) NAIROBI CAMPUS. The campus initially started as a center and opened its doors to the first students in May 2002. It was elevated to a Campus in 2007.

With the current student’s population standing at above 700, the Campus is overstretched in terms of space. A building to provide the extra needed space is earmarked during the course of 2011/2012 financial year.

Plans are underway to erect a new modern gate, to match the completed cabrowaxing of the main road from the Kabarsiran Avenue. Since all these developmental structures are in place, the Campus is poised to be one of the best centre’s of academic excellence in this region.
