2011 KCSE Results Analysis

2011 KCSE Results were announced by education minister Prof. Sam Ongeri on Wednesday 29th February 2012 in Nairobi.

The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education KCSE examination is an exam sat at the end of four years of secondary education in Kenya. The prerequisite to this exam is the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education KCPE sat after eight years of primary schooling. The examining body for both exams is the Kenya National Examination Council KNEC which sets, co-ordinates and organizes the marking and release of the KCPE and KCSE results by sms or online.

The KNEC is tying to use the technology in delivering the results to all stake-holders. The problems is that KNEC’s website always becomes inaccessible whenever the results are released.

The results have been classified as follows:

a). KCSE 2011 SCHOOLS ORDERS OF MERIT – NATIONAL SCHOOLS

b). KCSE 2011 OVERALL TOP 100 COUNTY SCHOOLS

c). KCSE 2011 OVERALL TOP 100 DISTRICT SCHOOLS

d). KCSE 2011 OVERALL TOP 100 PRIVATE SCHOOLS

e). KCSE 2011 NEW NATIONAL SCHOOLS
