Minimum Entry Requirements for certificate Programmes.

The following entry requirements are only minimum, and they do not in any way entitle an applicant to a place in the University Applicants must:

• Have the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with an average grade C- in KCSE

OR

• Hold a certificate from a recognized institution with a Credit pass or higher or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution in the relevant field of specialization, acceptable to Academic Board.

AND

• Meet additional or specific entry requirements as may be specified by the respective Departments and or Faculty

,b>Mode of Study

The University College offers three modes of study in Chuka Campus and Embu Town Campus:

Fulltime - in September, January and May Semesters

School Based - in April, August and December sessions

Evening/weekend - in September, January and May Semesters

The applicant should liaise with the relevant Department to be advised on courses offered for particular modes.
